Kenya shilling firms marginally vs dollar

(Reuters) - The Kenya shilling firmed slightly against the dollar in quiet trade on Monday and dealers expected a stronger local unit in the days ahead.

At 0840 GMT, commercial banks quoted the local unit at 66.75/85 to the greenback, five cents stronger than Friday's close.

(Reuters) - The Kenya shilling was little changed against the dollar in quiet trade on Monday, dealers said.

At 0835 GMT, commercial banks traded the unit at 68.75/85 to the dollar, compared with Friday's closing price of 68.80/90.
