Germany's DAX Index Falls, Led by Allianz, Deutsche Bank; IKB Plummets

(Bloomberg) -- Germany's benchmark DAX Index
declined for a fifth day, led by financial shares after IKB
Deutsche Industriebank AG, which invested in U.S. subprime
mortgages, cut its profit forecast.

Linde AG paced rising shares after reporting earnings that
beat analysts' estimates. Volkswagen AG gained after analysts
raised their price estimates on the stock.

German Stocks Decline, Led by Deutsche Bank, Allianz; Volkswagen Rises

(Bloomberg) -- Germany's benchmark DAX Index
dropped for a fourth day, paced by Deutsche Bank AG,
Commerzbank AG and Allianz SE, on mounting concern financing
difficulties may cloud the outlook for mergers and takeovers.

Volkswagen AG advanced after the carmaker's first-half
profit beat analysts' expectations. Siemens AG also climbed.

Germany's DAX Benchmark Index Rises; Deutsche Bank, Volkswagen Lead Gain

(Bloomberg) -- German stocks advanced for a third
day, paced by Deutsche Bank AG and Allianz SE. Volkswagen AG
climbed after the carmaker said it expects to boost sales in
China.

The DAX added 28.35, or 0.4 percent, to 8121.12 at 10:07
a.m. in Frankfurt. DAX futures expiring in September increased
0.3 percent to 8181. The HDAX Index of the country's 110 biggest
companies gained 0.4 percent.

HeidelbergCement, Kloeckner, Deutsche Lufthansa: German Equity Preview

(Bloomberg) -- The following stocks may rise or
fall in German markets.

Germany's X-DAX Index was little changed at 8079.43. The
index provides an estimate of the DAX Index, based on trading in
DAX futures after the Xetra electronic market closes. The DAX
advanced 0.4 percent to 8077.39 on the Xetra electronic-trading
system.

German Stocks Increase, Led by ThyssenKrupp on Upgrade; BMW, Daimler Climb

(Bloomberg) -- Germany's benchmark DAX Index rose,
recovering some of yesterday's decline. ThyssenKrupp AG paced
gains after Goldman, Sachs & Co. recommended buying the stock.

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG climbed after the world's
largest maker of luxury cars said sales increased to a record
last month. Shares of DaimlerChrysler AG also increased.

Germany's DAX Index Slides; Allianz, Lufthansa, Deutsche Bank Slip

(Bloomberg) -- German stocks dropped, led by Allianz
SE, Deutsche Lufthansa AG and Deutsche Bank AG.

The benchmark DAX Index lost 65.91, or 0.8 percent, to
7941.41 as of 9:06 a.m. in Frankfurt. The HDAX Index of the
country's 110 biggest companies also fell 0.8 percent.

(Bloomberg) -- The following stocks may rise or
fall in German markets.

Germany's X-DAX Index climbed 1.1 percent to 7865.38. The
index provides an estimate of the DAX Index, based on trading in
DAX futures after the Xetra electronic market closes. The DAX
declined 0.8 percent to 7801.23 on the Xetra electronic-trading
system.

Allianz, Deutsche Bank, Hochtief, Metro, Volkswagen: German Equity Preview

(Bloomberg) -- The following stocks may rise or fall
in German markets today.

Germany's X-DAX Index rose 2.1 percent June 15. The index
provides an estimate of the DAX Index, based on trading in DAX
futures after the Xetra electronic market closes. Germany's
benchmark DAX jumped 181.48, or 2.3 percent, to 8030.64 on the
Xetra electronic-trading system.
