Bad weather shuts S.Africa's coal export terminal

South Africa's Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) remained closed for a third straight day owing to bad weather on Tuesday, but a spokeswoman said the closure had not materially affected exports so far.

South Africa's two key outlets of Durban and Richards Bay remained shut since early Sunday, with all shipping and bunker operations stopped due to bad weather, officials said. The storms lashed the ports located in the Kwa ZuluNatal province.
