(Reuters) - Analysts on average had been expecting a same-store sales
rise of 3.9 percent, according to a Reuters survey.
"The month was very strong as warm weather sparked demand
for spring and summer apparel across all divisions," Chief
Executive Carol Meyrowitz said in a statement.
