(Reuters) - MILAN, April 8 - Italy's market regulator has asked anyone with over 2 percent of Telecom Italia to declare the interest by a Tuesday deadline, Italian newspapers said on Sunday, as speculation swirls over moves to control the company.
Telecom Italia shares were heavily traded last week after AT&T and America Movil said they were in talks with Pirelli to buy a majority of Olimpia, which controls the telecoms company with an 18 percent stake.
