(Bloomberg) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. asked Greek
lawmakers to delay a parliamentary hearing probing whether the
third-largest U.S. bank was part of group that sold government
bonds to pension funds at inflated prices.
``We've communicated with the Greek parliament and said
we're willing to cooperate but asked to do that at a later
date,'' JPMorgan spokesman Michael Golden in London said in a
telephone interview. He said bank officials wouldn't appear at
today's committee meeting and that the ``appropriate people''
would be available at a later point.
